Great service from team during booking, day of pick up and return. Boat was excellent and the Shannon is a great destination. Facilities at harbours are excellent and made the whole trip even more enjoyable. Good boat, loads of room and facilities.

Well prepared. Already have motored with Emerald Star and happy to allow us save time on training. Stormy morning next day and received text message about the danger to go further into Lough Derg, Except for one cantakerous individual in Banagher (not a hire boat) the friendliness of everyone on the river was fantastic. The new pub, Fallons at Shannonbridge, better than the rest

Straightforward booking process. Friendly staff and efficient refund of damage deposit etc. The boat itself was in good condition. Very spacious and well stocked. This is my second time on Le Boat / Emerald Star and will not be my last. Spacious enough for the full 8 people and well maintained.

The measure of good service is not in never having problems, its how problems are dealt with. We had a couple of minor issues, caused by the previous boat users, which were out of Emerald Star's control but they went out of their way to make sure it was all rectified. The staff in Portumna were extremely helpful, friendly and a pleasure to deal with Highly recommended for a family holiday

Very good service with regard to the running of boat and the instructions given. I would just suggest that they should use large deep bottom fitted sheets on beds and also should provide a top sheet or advise customers to bring their own sheets if preferred. I personally don’t like buttons on duvet covers so I would advise fasteners on duvet covers instead. (I have a button fobia!). The sheets were way too short for the double beds. I think the Company should provide a 3 night hire deal during the week. We picked up boat on Monday at 4pm and returned it to Portumna on Thursday evening at 7pm but as such we’re charged up until Friday morning at 9am. 3 nights experience is enough for a first time on boat. We will go again and cruise up towards the Erne waterway next time please god. Thanks Mary Lovely experience on river Shannon
