We were just generally satisfied. We will almost certainly charter from them again. Everything was excellent. I cannot find a single item to criticize.

The Horizon was a terrific boat for our vacation. Very comfortable and great for exploring the Rideau waterways. We had everything we needed for a lovely cruise. The boat was very clean and well equipped. Sandy was great at getting us oriented and on our way in no time. The Horizon 2 was perfect for our needs. Having 2 cabins made it more comfortable. The kitchen was great and we made some simple but delicious meals. We were unsuccessful at getting the grill on the fly deck to work. Not sure if there was too much wind but it would have been fun to use it. The beds were very comfortable (and my wife is very picky). The addition of the clip-on fans was great. My last comment is that the boats should have names! Not numbers. Our boat was number 42, but we decided it should be named “Thanks For All The Fish.”

Great service and help from both the office staff and the dock crew in Smith Falls. Thanks everyone! We had a great time at all the friendly towns we stopped at along the way. Especially Merritville, Westport and Perth.

Staff were consistently attentive, pleasant, and knowledgeable. The boats are easy to navigate through the locks and when docking. It's important to remember that these boats have air cooling, NOT air conditioning. Easy to navigate. But learn how to read nautical maps.

Was particularly impressed by Marcus Wellstead, who helped us find our perfect boat and canal and went above and beyond to answer various questions before we committed, from the size of the bed in the front cabin of the Horizon 2 to the suitability of the hire bikes for fitting a child trailer behind them. Well done Marcus! Canal de Nivernais is a quiet and attractive canal - on some days we saw only a couple of other boats. From Decize, the canal steadily climbs through a series of intermittent locks, through three tunnels at the top of the hill and then series of around 20 locks on the way back down .. but every one manned by a lock keeper. We indulged ourselves by booking the Horizon 2 for just one couple, so we had plenty of room, two showers - which was useful as it was so hot, plus two loos, plentiful USBs, good wifi (purchased as an extra), fridge, cooker etc. Above all being able to steer from the top deck was excellent, as was having the bimini to help keep cool when not travelling (low bridges mean it can't be used when in motion). The front and rear bow thrusters were invaluable. The only criticisms are: 1: the plastic sun umbrella shaded but also seemed to absorb the heat and radiate it downwards 2. we wish we'd known about the lifting bridges - the Horizon is a tall boat and it was nerve-racking positioning it correctly to get underneath them.
Hello and thank you for taking the time to leave us positive feedback. It's brilliant to hear that you were well looked after by the lovely Marcus! Our friendly sales team have a fantastic knowledge of all things Le Boat, from destinations to boat amenities! We hope that we can welcome you on board again soon. All the best,The Le Boat Team

Well motivated staff, our Horizon 2 was easy to handle and well equipped. Nothing more to add. Only downside is that better road signage required on approach to Seeleys Bay to find the Leboat base
